Dr. Deanna Clark

Dr. Deanna graduated from the UW-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine in 2004.  She grew up on a small dairy farm in Northern Wisconsin and thus started out of veterinary school as a bovine-only practitioner.  She soon realized how much she missed working with dogs/cats and their people and found a job as a mixed animal practitioner.  As her career has evolved she has left the country-side and is now focused souly on dogs and cats.  Her love of veterinary medicine incorporates many facets, but she truly celebrates the human-animal bond and enjoys helping our pets be as healthy and as much a part of our lives as possible.  One of her true passions combines her own love of sports-medicine with canines, and she is a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist.  This involves early injury diagnosis, detection, prevention and treatment similar to physical therapy in people.  Rehabilitation Therapy has given one of her own companions, Sadie (a 14 year old Siberian Husky) a new “leash” on life, making her senior years as pain-free and active as possible.  In her free time, Dr. Deanna enjoys backpacking, running, biking, skijoring (where her 3 younger huskies pull her on skis) and the occasional night staying in with “people” friends and her 3 cats!
