Veterinary Technicians

Missy, CVT, is a Certified Veterinary Technician and our patient care team leader.  She graduated from Madison Area Technical College in 1998.  She has been working as a CVT since graduation.  She joined our hospital in February of 2007 when she moved back to Wisconsin from Missoula, MT.  She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, camping, fishing, hiking, playing pool and watching movies. She lives with her husband Joe, her son Simon, her bulldog Darla, and her two cats Samba and Ollie.

JulieJulie, CVT, works part time as our inventory/purchase manager, as well as a fill in when we need help in the technician department.  When she is not working at the clinic she runs her own business, Paws Away Pet Sitting.  She enjoys reading, gardening, watching movies or just snuggling with her kitty Kari Lynn at home.

Becky, CVT, has always loved animals.  She started working at a humane society when she was is high school, and continued to work there while she attended MATC’s Vet Tech Program.  In 2004, she left the humane society to work part time at a vet clinic.  When she graduated from the technician program in 2005, she became a full time CVT.   She worked at the Oregon Vet Clinic for 4 and 1/2 years.  Becky came on board at WFPC in August of 2009.
She enjoys outdoor activities, spending time with her family and friends, and playing with her dog Brody and her cat Tater.

Kari, CVT,  grew up on a dairy farm in rural NE Wisconsin.  She received her BS in Bio & Captive Wildlife from UW-Stevens Point and graduated from MATC’s Veterinary Technician Program in 2009.  She lives in Monona with her boyfriend Matt and her two cats: Kali (a 2 1/2 yr old calico DSH) and Cosmo (a 1 yr old DSH), who keep her on her toes!  In her very little free time she enjoys running (she has run 3 half marathons), reading good books, shopping, playing volleyball, watching movies & hanging out with friends.

Veterinary Assistants

Michelle, Vet Assistant, has been working for WFPC for one and a half years.  She graduated from Colby College with a degree in Biology in 2002.  She finished her Master’s Degree in Sports Science: Sports Management & Sports Coaching, at the United States Sports Academy in 2008.  Michelle is interested in Rehabilitation and is the lead assistant in our rehab program.  Her other interests include coaching ice hockey, kayaking, and hanging out with her two rats, Jack and Benihana.

Catie, Vet Assistant,  has been working for WFPC for over a year.  She graduated from UW Madison with a BS in Zoology in 2007.  Her goal is to continue her education and become a veterinarian.  Currently, she is enjoying her time as a vet assistant and her interests are in nutrition and parasitology.  Catie lives with her three cats and two foster cats.  In her spare time she volunteers for Dane County Friends of Ferals.

AmyAmy, Vet Assistant, has always had a love and interest for animals and that is what brought her to the veterinary field.  She has been a veterinary assistant for four years, working previously for Dr. Nan Boss in Grafton, WI.   She moved to the Madison area in August of 2008 to continue her education at MATC.  She has always had cats around, but pictures herself in the future running through a field with a dog.

Client Relations Specialists

Sharon, CRS, has been part of our client relations team for 18 great years!  She shares her home with Kelli, a small poodle mix, as well as her husband and her daughter.  Sharon and her family are very involved in the Special Olympics; and when she’s not volunteering her time, she likes to shop, read and spend time with her seven grandchildren.

Susan, CRS, has been a part of the WFPC team since October of 2003. Her wonderful personality and uncanny ability to know what is important to clients make her a very special team member. She shares her home with her husband, Tim. Susan and Tim have two children and three grandchildren that they like to spend their time with.  Interests include biking, camping, gardening and travel.

AliciaAlicia, CRS, has been with our center since March ‘09.  She works as a Client Relations Specialist, Groomer and in Dog Fitness. She enjoys working with dogs to give them a happy and healthy lifestyle. Alicia lives with her dog Samantha who is a St. Bernard. On her days off she enjoys hanging out with her friends and family. She also occasionally gets to babysit her brother’s Pug named Raisen.

Mariah, CRS, has been working for the clinic for 2 years in various fields including, veterinary assistance, client relations, Cozy Cat Caretaker and 4 Paws Fitness.  She will graduate from Middleton High School this spring and is looking forward to studying pre-veterinary medicine in 2010.  Her interests are neurology and chiropractic care for pets.  Mariah has a Sheltie named Mesa Mae and a Green Cheek Conure Parrot named Caico.

beth and davidBeth, CRS & Fitness trainer, is our lead K-9 fitness trainer at 4 Paws Swim & Fitness and she also helps out as a client relations specialist.  As a fitness trainer, it is her job to keep the dogs fit, trim, healthy and happy.  Beth’s love of animals has led her to join Dogs on Call where she and her 8 year old Golden Retriever, David, have become a certified therapy dog and handler team.  In her spare time she also enjoys pet sitting.  She says life wouldn’t be complete without a herd of animals around her.  Along with David, she also shares her home with 3 kitties, Lanie, Balie, and Abby Rose.

Lindsey, CRS is new to our team and learning the ropes very quickly! She also works as a fitness trainer and is currently studying canine behavioral training. Lindsey has been working with dogs pretty much her whole life ranging from a kennel assistant to a dog groomer to a doggy daycare supervisor. She hopes to open a doggy daycare of her own someday!
Lindsey lives in Sauk City and in her free time she enjoys watching movies, playing Frisbee Golf, rollerblading, and spending quality time with her friends and family.
