Gone are the days where we automatically decide what a pet needs for vaccinations without taking into account where the pet lives, plays, and even what breed he/she is.
Asking questions about a pet’s lifestyle helps our veterinarians determine which vaccinations are best suited for your pet and which ones are really necessary. We don’t want to give vaccinations that your pet won’t need. During your appointment we will go through a lifestyle questionnaire with you to determine which vaccines are appropriate for your pet.
We often have a choice of 2 or 3 vaccine manufacturers and will always choose a vaccine based on its safety for your pet. We base all our vaccine decsions on the AAHA Vaccine Guidelines Taskforce and the most current contnuing educational seminars.
