Pharmacy Services
We have a complete in-house pharmacy. We routinely treat 8 oz puppies and kittens to 150 lb Great Danes! Many of our smaller pets require very accurate dosing, many will only tolerate liquids, some have to be made double strength, some diluted, all according to individual tastes!
We also have access to several excellent compounding pharmacies in the Madison area and throughout the Midwest. These dedicated professionals help us make things even a little easier for cats and for unusual medications. We can have them formulate most medications into a small chewable tablet or a flavored liquid that even a finicky cat or picky dog will eat. This is especially useful when pets will be on long term medication. These medications are affordable and have made a big difference in the chore of administering medications to reluctant patients!
