There is nothing quite as much fun or as cute as a tiny ball of fur in a kitten form! All of us at WFPC are serious cat lovers and it makes our day to see a new kitten or two!
To get them off to a healthy start after a comprehensive physical exam we recommend the following:

• Fecal (stool) exam on sample (please bring with you on your first visit)
• Vaccinations for Feline Panleukopenia (Distemper), Rhinotracheitis & Calici the major upper respiratory viruses of  cats and Rabies
• Heartworm prevention using Revolution(r)
• Internal parasite treatment/prevention

Feline Leukemia/FIV testing

We will consult with you on the following:

• Litter box training/habits
• Proper play
• Dental homecare
• Claw trimming/scratching posts/declawing
• Sterilization benefits (ovariohysterectomy(spays) & neuters)
• Nutritional issues (urinary problems, dental diets, weight control)

Kitten wellness exams are recommended when your kitten is:

1st between 7 & 10 weeks
2nd between 10 & 13 weeks
3rd between 14 & 16 weeks of age
Final kitten visit between 6 to 7 months
