Kitten Wellness

There is nothing quite as much fun or as cute as a tiny ball of fur in a kitten form! All of us at WFPC are serious cat lovers and it makes our day to see a new kitten or two!
To get them off to a healthy start after a comprehensive physical exam we recommend the following:
• Fecal (stool) exam on sample (please bring with you on your first visit)
• Vaccinations for Feline Panleukopenia (Distemper), Rhinotracheitis & Calici the major upper respiratory viruses of cats and Rabies
• Heartworm prevention using Revolution(r)
• Internal parasite treatment/prevention
Feline Leukemia/FIV testing
We will consult with you on the following:
• Litter box training/habits
• Proper play
• Dental homecare
• Claw trimming/scratching posts/declawing
• Sterilization benefits (ovariohysterectomy(spays) & neuters)
• Nutritional issues (urinary problems, dental diets, weight control)
