H1N1 Confirmed in a US dog 12-24-09

First case of H1N1 in a dog in US confirmed with symptoms of coughing, not eating lethargic and low grade fever. Thought to have contracted from owners who had H1N1.  Although this is a single case it points out the need to practice good prevention especially when a pet is older or in any way immuno-compromised
